1. Who We Are

We are a registered apprenticeship sponsor and ETPL-approved workforce intermediary that helps Indiana employers implement earn-and-learn apprenticeship programs aligned with WIOA and WRG funding.

We are not a staffing agency and not a traditional school. We provide infrastructure, compliance, and training coordination so employers can hire, train, and retain talent with reduced cost and risk.

All listed programs are:

  • Registered apprenticeships
  • ETPL-approved (where applicable)

Participants

  • WIOA-eligible individuals
  • WRG-eligible individuals
  • Priority populations (justice-involved, SNAP, TANF, veterans, etc.)

Employers

  • Licensed barber shops
  • Small and mid-sized employers seeking earn-and-learn models
  • Employers open to apprenticeships but needing administrative support

4. How the Model Works (Simple)

Employer agrees to host an apprentice

Apprentice is hired and paid by the employer

Training is delivered through approved RTI providers

We handle: Apprenticeship registration, Compliance and reporting, RTI coordination, Progress tracking

WorkOne coordinates funding where the participant is eligible

5. Funding Compatibility

Our programs are compatible with:

  • WIOA Individual Training Accounts (ITA)
  • Workforce Ready Grant (WRG)
  • On-the-Job Training (OJT) wage reimbursement
  • Supportive services (kits, tools, books, exams)
  • Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) for employers

Funding decisions remain with the WorkOne region and case manager.

7. Referral & Intake Flow
